With the unveiling of the 2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift, the Czech automaker has also revealed the 4th-generation Superb executive sedan for the Indian market. What’s more interesting is that it will mark the brand’s return to diesel engines.
As of now, the brand is accepting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from potential customers, and deliveries will begin by June 2027.
What Will Power The India-bound Skoda Superb?
Powering the new Skoda Superb will be a 2-litre, turbocharged direct-injection diesel engine, which is claimed to produce 148PS of max power and 360Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), sending power to the car’s front wheels.
2026 Skoda Superb: Exterior Design and Dimensions
- Design-wise, the 4th-generation Superb gets a large hexagonal butterfly grille, flanked by sleeker dual projector headlamps with L-shaped DRLs featuring full-LED lighting technology.
- The bumper looks clean and gets a single full-width air intake.
- Riding on 18-inch silver alloy wheels, the Superb features an elongated low roofline and a pronounced shoulder line that connects the front and rear wheel arches.
- The rear-end features angular full-LED taillights having the C-shaped graphics, ‘SKODA’ lettering on the bootlid, and a minimalist bumper with silver accents at the bottom.
- Speaking of the dimensions, the 2027 Skoda Superb is 4912mm long, 1849mm wide and 1511mm tall.
2026 Skoda Superb: Interior and Features
- Inside the 2026 Superb, the cabin features a layered dashboard design, flaunting a dual-tone Cognac and Black theme, with soft-touch materials used on the dashboard and door pads.
- It gets a freestanding 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and three rotary dials for HVAC control.
- What’s more interesting is that Skoda has positioned the gear selector on the steering column. As a result, the centre console tunnel frees space for concealed storage, a front centre armrest and a wireless phone charger.
- The other notable features of this executive sedan comprise a powered tailgate, three-zone climate control, 13-speaker Canton sound system, powered front seats with heating, ventilation & massage functions, 360-degree camera, 10 airbags, front & rear parking sensors and level-2 ADAS suite.
- The sedan has already secured a 5-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash tests.

Expected Price and Rivals
Skoda is expected to price the 2026 Superb at around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the Toyota Camry hybrid.
