Skoda Slavia Design & Features
Exterior
We have talked multiple times about Slavia’s design and features list. It has balanced proportions and looks quite elegant. It features Skoda’s signature butterfly grille up front flanked by LED headlamps. Other prominent design elements on the outside include sharp lines on the front bumper, a clean silhouette, 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and split LED tail lamps.
Based on the Volkswagen Group’s highly localized MQB-A0-IN platform, it is slightly larger than the now-discontinued Rapid sedan. In fact, at 4,541mm long, 1,752mm wide, 1,487mm tall, and with a wheelbase of 2,651mm, the Slavia is one of the largest sedans in its category.
Interior & Features
Slavia’s layered dashboard is pretty identical to the new-gen Fabia hatchback sold overseas. It looks very neat and the dual-tone beige-&-black melody with copper-color trim running across the width of the dash gives it an upmarket sense.
In terms of features, the Skoda Slavia packs auto headlamps & wipers, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, an 8-speaker sound system with subwoofer, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, auto AC with touch-based controls, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, wireless smartphone charging, cruise control, a single-pane electric sunroof, ambient lighting, and much more.
Passenger safety is ensured by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability control, and tire pressure monitoring.
Skoda Slavia Powertrain and Mileage
As mentioned above, Skoda has offered the Slavia with two petrol engines: 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, TSI turbo and 1.5-litre, 4-cyl, TSI turbo with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT). Here’s take a look at the detailed specifications: –
Skoda Slavia 1.0 TSI | Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI | |
No of Cylinders | 3 | 4 |
Max Power | 115PS | 150PS |
Peak Torque | 178Nm | 250Nm |
