Skoda has completed 25 years in the Indian market and to celebrate this, the Czech Republican brand has launched new Limited Edition variants for the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia. All these special edition trims are based on their respective top-end variant and gets a few styling enhancements and new features.

As seen in the table above, the Kylaq’s special edition is available in two variants: Signature Plus and Prestige, whereas for the Kushaq and Slavia, it is based only on the top-spec Monte Carlo variant.

Skoda Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia Special Editions – What’s Special?
- To start with, all these special edition models get a 360-degree surround view system and a puddle lamp displaying Skoda.
- They also get a bespoke “25 years” badge on the doors.
- The Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Limited Edition brings a few extra touches in the form of trunk garnish, spoiler extension with red accent (for Kushaq), red accents on the bumper, doors and tailgate that stand out against the Deep Black exterior paint scheme. They also feature underbody lighting, adding a striking visual effect, especially at night.
- Apart from the Deep Black shade, both the Kushaq and Slavia are also available with the Tornado Red colour scheme.

Engine Options
While a 1-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine is standard, the Kushaq and Slavia also gets a larger & more powerful 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. Here check out their technical specifications: –

Competition Check
Being a sub-4m urban SUV, the Skoda Kylaq faces competition from the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
On the other hand, the Skoda Kushaq goes up against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate and VW Taigun. Lastly, the Slavia’s competitors include Honda City, Hyundai Verna and VW Virtus.
