Royal Enfield Scram 411 Receives Its First Price Hike

Royal Enfield has hiked the prices of the Scram 411 motorcycle for the first time since its launch on March 15. The magnitude of the price hike is Rs 2,845 across all the color options.

With the latest round of price revision, the Scram 411 has become more expensive than the Yezdi Scrambler (Rs 2.04 – 2.10 lakh) and Honda CB350RS (Rs 2.03 lakh).

Aside from the price increment, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 411cc single-cylinder engine (24.3PS/32Nm) as the RE Himalayan that comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. It is based on a half-duplex split cradle frame supported on a 41mm telescopic front fork with 190mm travel and a rear monoshock with 180mm wheel travel. 

In terms of features, the Scram 411 comes with a fork-mounted halogen headlight, LED taillamp, a semi-digital instrument cluster (borrowed from Meteor 350) with an optional Tripper Navigation pod, block pattern tires, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
