Qualcomm has announced the first edition of ‘Snapdragon Auto Day’, which will be held on July 30, 2025, in New Delhi, in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The event aims to showcase how technology can make Indian roads safer, smarter, and more connected.
The event will bring together major players from the auto and tech industries — including carmakers, suppliers, and tech partners — to explore the future of vehicles powered by Snapdragon platforms. These platforms are helping cars become more intelligent with features like connected dashboards, better safety tech, cloud support, and real-time communication between vehicles and their surroundings (V2X).
One of the key focus areas will be software-defined vehicles — cars that rely more on software and AI for their performance and features, rather than just mechanical parts. Qualcomm will also showcase its ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), AI-powered digital cockpits, and smart interfaces designed to make driving safer and more personalised.
The event will highlight how India is quickly becoming a global hub for automotive innovation, thanks to its talent, scale, and rising focus on electric and connected vehicles.
While the event celebrates exciting new tech, it also brings attention to the challenges ahead. Better infrastructure, strong partnerships, and government support will be needed to bring these technologies to everyday Indian roads.
Snapdragon Auto Day is not just a showcase, but a big step toward shaping the future of mobility in India. Attendees will be able to see demos, talk to experts, and understand how the cars of tomorrow are being built today.
