Ola S1 X Launched With 4kWh Battery At Rs 1.10 Lakh

Ola Electric has launched its entry-level S1 X electric scooter with the choice of a 4kWh battery pack at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is also available with 2kWh and 3kWh battery pack options, now priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), respectively.

Ola S1 X 4kWh – What Does It Offer?

Powered by a new 4kWh battery pack, the Ola S1 X claims 190km of range on a single charge, just 5km less than the gen-2 S1 Pro. It will take around 6 hr 30 min for a full charge.

Aside from the improved range, the 4kWh model shares identical features with other trims in the S1 X family. It maintains the same styling, feature set and nearly all dimensions, except for the weight. Having said that, it tips the weighing scale at 112kg, making it 4kg heavier than the S1 X with a 3kWh battery.

Other Important Announcements

  • Ola has revealed plans to expand its service centre presence across the nation. The company aims for a 50% increase, with 600 Ola service centres set to be established nationwide by April 2024.
  • The EV manufacturer is also aiming for a tenfold increase in its public charging network, planning to grow it from the existing 1000 chargers to 10,000 stations by the next quarter (June 2024).
  • Another significant announcement has come in the form of an extension of the battery warranty cover, offering an 8-year/80,000 km standard battery warranty for its electric scooters without any extra charges. Additionally, customers have the option to purchase an extended battery warranty of 1 lakh kilometres for just Rs 4,999 and 1.25 lakh kilometres for Rs 12,999.
