New-Gen 2026 Kia Seltos Revealed; Bigger, Smarter, Safer

The Seltos, Kia’s most popular offering in the Indian market, has finally received its first-generation update since its market debut in 2019. The SUV brings a fresh styling, significantly improved cabin, updated tech, and a more advanced feature package.

Bookings, Price Announcement and Deliveries

Bookings for the new Seltos will start from midnight today, while deliveries and price announcement will take place in January 2026.

A Complete New Design

  • The new-gen Kia Seltos looks very upmarket and squared-off compared to the outgoing model.
  • It now has a wider stance and a cleaner body profile; however, it retains its bold road presence, for which it’s known.
  • Upfront, it gets a more upright digital tiger face grille with intricate detailing finish in gloss black.
  • The grille is flanked by sleeer LED headlamps and updated ice-cube-shaped signature LED DRLs that give it a more premium appearance.
  • The bumper design is more sculpted now, with larger air inlets and a more pronounced skid plate, adding to its robust SUV character.

  • Towards the sides, the Seltos retains its strong shoulder lines, but gets newly designed aero-optimised alloys with neon green callipers and cleaner surfacing thanks to the smart flush-fitting door handles.

  • Inside, the cabin of the new Seltos looks more premium and modern, thanks to the all-black dashboard and multiple cabin themes based on the variant.
  • Having said that, the Tech Line gets Black & Grey and Brown & Grey options, the X-Line gets a Black & Hunter Green, while the GT Line comes with a sporty Black & White finish.
  • The dashboard layout will remind you of the Kia Syros, featuring a trinity panoramic display panel, which includes two 12.3-inch displays (one for the infotainment and the other for the driver’s display), and a 5-inch unit for climate control.
  • There are also the physical buttons for the infotainment and climate control, similar to the Syros.
  • The AC vents have a slim, rectangular shape, positioned below the soft-touch element that spans the width of the dash.
  • It also gets a new three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel as seen in the Kia EV6.
  • Since the dimensions of the SUV have gone up, the space is also expected to be better than before.
