New Defender OCTA Revealed: Land Rover’s Most Powerful 4×4 Yet

Land Rover has introduced the new Defender OCTA, a high-performance SUV that redefines the capabilities of the iconic Defender line. Combining unparalleled toughness with luxury, the Defender OCTA is set to make its dynamic debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Defender OCTA is powered by a 4.4-litre Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, producing an impressive 467 kW and up to 750 Nm of torque. This powerhouse enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, making it the most powerful Defender ever created. The intelligent 6D Dynamics suspension and extensively reworked chassis components ensure exceptional on- and off-road performance.

The vehicle’s design reflects its rugged capabilities and luxurious appeal. Exclusive to the first year of production, the Defender OCTA Edition One boasts a curated specification with new paint options and Chopped Carbon Fibre detailing. The interior features advanced materials and technologies, including Body and Soul Seat audio technology, which offers an immersive driving experience.

Land Rover Defender OCTA specifications

The Defender OCTA will be available for order soon, with an indicative price of ₹265 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the standard model and ₹285 Lakhs (ex-showroom) for the Edition One.
