Volkswagen Launches New Car Exchange Carnival; Revamps Pre-Owned Car Division

Volkswagen India has officially kicked off its Autofest Mega Exchange Carnival 2024, offering customers an excellent opportunity to upgrade to new Volkswagen vehicles with a variety of exciting benefits and deals. The carnival will run from July 3rd to July 20th, 2024, across all Volkswagen dealerships in the country.

Volkswagen has also announced the rebranding of its pre-owned car business from ‘Das WeltAuto.’ to ‘Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned’. This strategic rebranding aims to align with Volkswagen’s global brand positioning and enhance the visibility and value of its pre-owned car program in India. The first rebranded ‘Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned’ showroom was inaugurated in Coimbatore today.

Autofest Mega Exchange Carnival 2024 offers a variety of incentives for customers to trade in their old cars for new Volkswagen models. During the carnival, customers can avail of special deals and discounts on a range of Volkswagen vehicles, ensuring they get the best value for their trades.

Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned will continue to operate its successful multi-brand pre-owned car business, focusing more on Volkswagen-branded models. The initiative aims to offer refurbishment, certification, and warranties for cars sold through this channel, providing a hassle-free and fully digitized customer journey. This rebranding exercise seeks to leverage the core strength and trust associated with the Volkswagen brand, setting it apart from competitors.

Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, expressed enthusiasm about the initiatives, stating, “We are thrilled to launch the Autofest Mega Exchange Carnival, which offers customers a chance to upgrade to a new Volkswagen car with exciting deals and benefits. The rebranding of our used car business to ‘Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned’ aligns with our global positioning and reinforces the trust and quality synonymous with the Volkswagen name.”
