More Details Emerged About 2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift

Latest Update: 2022 facelifted Hyundai Venue has finally been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.53 lakh. Click here for more details.

The facelifted Hyundai Venue has been spied again in South Korea, giving us a rear and side look of the updated sub-4m SUV. It is expected to be launched by mid-2022 in the Indian market.

The latest spy shot revealed the refreshed LED taillamps of the new Venue that seem connected by a LED light bar. Its tailgate design also looks more upright and sportier. While the silhouette of the SUV remains unchanged, the earlier spy shots have already hinted about its new front profile. One can also notice the dual exhaust tip and rear diffuser, implying that it’s the sportier N-line version of the Venue. We believe it will be the second Hyundai model to get the N Line trim in India.

While we are yet to get a glimpse of its interior, we expect it to receive some significant changes like a larger touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, and revised upholstery. Besides, features like an electric sunroof, a wireless smartphone charger, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, up to six airbags, and tire pressure monitoring system are expected to remain unchanged.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue is likely to continue with the ongoing engine options that include 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol (83PS/114Nm), 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120PS/171Nm), and 1.5-liter diesel (100PS/240Nm) units. Currently, the 1.2-liter petrol motor comes with a 5-speed manual, whereas the oil burner gets a 6-speed manual transmission. The turbocharged gasoline mill, on the other hand, is available with three transmission options: a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT (manual gearbox without the clutch pedal), and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT). With the facelift update, its diesel engine could get a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option as the Kia Sonet.
