MG ZS EV Gets A Huge Price Cut – Check New Prices Here

Soon after revising the Hector and Hector Plus prices, MG Motor India has now done the same for the ZS EV. Here’s a look at its updated price list: –

MG ZS EV New Price List (October 2023)

As seen in the table, the MG ZS EV is now up to Rs 2.30 lakh more affordable, with the mid-spec Exclusive trim getting the most significant price cut, followed by the top-spec Exclusive Pro trim. On the other hand, the price for the entry-level Excite variant has lowered by Rs 50,000.

For those who aren’t aware, the range-topping Exclusive Pro variant of the MG ZS EV was launched in July this year, which comes with Level-2 ADAS suite, comprising advanced active safety features like : –

  • intelligent hydraulic braking assistant
  • traffic jam assist

The other notable features of the MG ZS EV include three levels of regen braking, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, a 10.1-inch touchscreen system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, connected car tech, wireless smartphone charging, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, auto AC, rear AC vents, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ESC, hill descent assist, TPMS, and electronic parking brakes with auto-hold function.

Battery Pack, Range and Charging Time

  • Powering the MG ZS EV is a 50.3kWh battery pack linked with a front wheel-driven electric motor rated at 176PS/280Nm, enabling it to do the 0-100kmph sprint in just 8.5 seconds. It claims a driving range of 461km on a single charge.
  • Regarding charging, the EV can be juiced up from 0 to 80 per cent in just 50 minutes via a 50kW DC fast charger.

Competitors

In the premium electric SUV segment, the MG ZS EV faces competition from the Hyundai Kona Electric and BYD Atto 3.
