MG Hector, Hector Plus Prices Decreased By Rs 1.37 Lakh

Planning to buy a new MG Hector or the 6/7-seater Hector Plus? Well, we have good news for you. The carmaker has slashed the prices of both SUVs by up to Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom). While the reason for the price cut is not clear, it might be due to increasing competition.

  • After the price revision, the MG Hector now ranges from Rs 14.73 lakh to Rs 21.51 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Hector Plus 6/7-seater New Price List (Sept 2023)

The prices of the Hector Plus petrol variants have decreased by up to Rs 81,000, whereas its diesel variants are now up to Rs 1.37 lakh more affordable. With this, the MG Hector Plus now retails between Rs 14.73 lakh and Rs 22.21 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine Options

MG offers both Hector and Hector Plus with two engine options: 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol (143PS/250Nm), mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic, and a 2-litre turbocharged diesel (170PS/350Nm), paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.

Competition

The MG Hector goes against the Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, 5-seater Mahindra XUV700 and higher variants of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder. On the other hand, the MG Hector Plus locks horns with the Hyundai Alcazar, 7-seater variants of Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
