MG Windsor EV Interior Revealed; Touchscreen Confirmed

MG Motor India has released another teaser of the upcoming Windsor EV ahead of its launch on September 11, 2024. This time, the brand has provided us with a glimpse at its interior and some of its features.

The latest teaser for the MG Windsor EV reveals its interior, showcasing the full dashboard view. The cabin features a dual-tone design with bronze accents, reminiscent of those found in its donor vehicle, and boasts a larger 15.6-inch touchscreen system, which is not only the largest screen in its segment but also the largest among all current MG models available in India. It is expected to support wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. One can also notice the 360° sign on the touchscreen, suggesting that the EV will get a 360° surround view system.

Expected Battery Pack and Range

MG is yet to reveal the technical specifications of the Windsor EV. However, its global counterpart, the Wuling Cloud EV, comes with two battery options: a 37.9kWh pack with a 360km range and a 50.6kWh pack with a 460km range. It comes equipped with a front-axle mounted permanent magnet synchronous (PMS) motor belting out 134PS of max grunt.

Expected Price and Rivals

We anticipate MG to price the Windosr EV under Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
