Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Likely To Go Sale In February 2023

We all know that Mahindra is working on the facelifted XUV300, which is reportedly to go on sale in February 2024, a month after the launch of the XUV400 facelift, essentially an electric version of the XUV300.

2024 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift – What To Expect?

  • Going by the leaks, the Mahindra XUV300 will undergo significant design changes, especially on the outside. The SUV is expected to borrow its design cues from the brand’s upcoming BE lineup of electric SUVs, comprising an angular nose with a split grille setup and large air intake.
  • It will also receive new drop-down LED DRLs, updated LED headlamps, new C-shaped LED taillamps with a width-spanning LED light bar, revised bumpers at both ends and new alloy wheels.

Powertrain

The 2024 Mahindra XUV300 is anticipated to retain the existing 110PS and 131PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engines as well as the 117PS 1.5-litre diesel unit. The 131PS version is also likely to feature a new Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, whereas the other two engines will continue to get the manual and AMT units.

Competitors

Upon launch, the Mahindra XUV300 is poised to present a more competitive option in comparison to the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
