Bookings Open For Ather 450 Apex; New Riding Mode Confirmed

Last month, we reported that Ather Energy is gearing up to launch a more powerful iteration of the 450X electric scooter called the “Ather 450 Apex“, and now the EV manufacturer has started accepting its booking for a token amount of Rs 2,500. It is expected to be launched in January 2024, while deliveries will commence in March.

Ather Energy has also released another teaser of the upcoming 450 Apex, revealing that it will get a new riding mode called “Wrap+.” This new mode promises even quicker acceleration than the existing Wrap mode in the 450X, which claims 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. With the WRAP+ mode, the expected acceleration time is predicted to be even shorter.

While the technical specification of the upcoming Ather 450 Apex is still under wraps, it is likely to retain the ongoing 3.7kWh battery pack as the existing 450X model. However, its electric motor will be tuned differently to extract more power.
