Mahindra is all set to unveil its two new all-electric offerings: the XEV 9e SUV-coupe and BS 6e SUV, on November 26, 2024. Ahead of their debut, the carmaker has revealed their key specifications.
- As per the carmaker, both of these upcoming offerings will be based on the brand’s new EV-specific INGLO platform.
- They will be offered with 59kWh and/or 79kWh battery packs and will support DC fast charging of up to 175kW. This will enable batteries to juice up from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
- Both are likely to be rear-wheel drive only, at least in the initial phase, with motor outputs ranging between 231PS and 286PS. However, the platform can accommodate front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations as well.
- These EVs will feature Mahindra’s so-called “compact 3-in-1 powertrain”, which integrates a motor, an inverter and a transmission into a single unit.
