Kia Sonet X-Line Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Kia India is all set to launch the Sonet X-Line Edition in the upcoming weeks. But a image of the upcoming model has been leaked online ahead of its imminent launch in September, giving us more insight into the new model.

Kia Sonet X-Line – Who will it be different from the standard model?

Going by the teaser and leaked images, the Kia Sonet X-Line will come wrapped in an exclusive Matte Graphite exterior color scheme, with black chrome exterior trim and glossy black roof & ORVMs. The car will also get newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, it is likely to get an all-black cabin with contrasting color elements and new leather upholstery.

Kia Sonet X-Line

We expect the Kia Sonet to be based on the top-spec GTX Plus trim. It is likely to be offered with two engine options: 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) and 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

We assume the Sonet X-Line Edition to command a premium of around Rs 40,000 over the regular model’s GTX Plus automatic variants, which currently range between Rs 13.19 lakh to Rs 13.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
