Kia Sonet GTX+ Turbo-petrol And Diesel Automatic Variants Prices Announced

Kia Motors launched its first sub-4 meter SUV, Sonet on 18 September. However, at that time the company didn't disclose the prices of the top-line automatic variants of the car. But now Kia has finally revealed the prices for the GTX+ automatic trims for both the turbo-petrol and diesel powertrains. Both the trims are priced at Rs 12.89 lakh each (ex-showroom).

The above table clearly indicates that both the diesel and turbo-petrol GTX+ automatic trims are pricier by Rs 90,000 over their respective manual/iMT versions. Interestingly, the manual/iMT versions of GTX+ trim also share the same price tag.

Kia Sonet GTX+ price

  • Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 are the only three sub-compact SUVs that are offered with a diesel-automatic combination. 
  • Earlier, Tata Nexon used to be the most expensive car in the segment but now Kia Sonnet has obtained this status.
  • Sonet is Rs 1.36 lakh costlier than the top variant of Hyundai Venue. Significantly, Sonet and Venue are based on the same platform and share the same powertrains.
