Its been a year since Kia has introduced the Sonet into the Indian automotive market. And now to mark this occasion, the brand has launched a limited run Anniversary Edition of the sub-4m SUV. Based on the HTX variant, the Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition is priced from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 11.89 lakh (ex-showroom India). Here's a look at its powertrain options and their pricing: –

Like the standard HTX trim, the Sonet Anniversary Edition is also available with the 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engine options and demands a premium of Rs 40,000 over its donor variant. For this excess dough, it receives a bunch of cosmetic updates. It gets bespoke Aurochs front, side & rear skid plates with Tangerine (orange) accents and special 1st Anniversary Edition badging in the front grille. The tangerine theme is also evident in the front grille and alloy wheel's hub caps too.
The special edition is available in four exterior colors options – Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Silver Steel, and Glacier White Pearl.
The Anniversary Edition shares its features list with the standard HTX trim. Highlights include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto climate control, rear AC vents, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, single-pane electric sunroof, rear sunshade, etc. Passenger safety is covered by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rear parking sensors.
