Kia India is gearing up to launch the Seltos X-Line Edition in the coming days. But ahead of its launch, its design and features details have been surfaced on the webs. Here are the details: –

– The Kia Seltos X Line is essentially a cosmetic update of the SUV with a more rugged appearance.
– As showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, the Seltos X Line will be offered in an exclusive Matte Graphite color scheme with glossy-black (piano black) and orange treatment for added appeal. The exterior changes on the Kia Seltos X-Line will include: –

- Piano Black surrounds on the grille
- Piano Black skid plates with Sun Orange accents
- Ice cube fog lamps Piano Black fog lamp inserts
- 18-inch Matte Graphite alloy wheels
- Piano Black ORVMs

– Inside the cabin, the Kia Seltos X Line will flaunt an all-black theme with Indigo Pera leatherette seats with grey stitching and matching door panel trim.
– The leaked images also suggest that the Seltos X-Line will be based on the top-spec GT-line variant of the compact SUV. And so, it will be equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, UVO connected car technology with remote functionality and smartwatch connectivity, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, powered driver's seat, electric sunroof, a 7-inch multi-information display, wireless charging, in-built air purifier, auto climate control, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, a heads-up display (HUD), cruise control, smart key remote-engine start, paddle shifters, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, tire pressure monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability control (ESC), hill assist control (HAC), and parking sensors with 360-degree surround-view camera.
– The Seltos X-Line is expected to be offered with two engine options: a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol (140PS/242Nm) and a 1.5-liter diesel (115PS/250Nm). Transmission choices could include a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) and a 6-speed torque converter gearbox, respectively.
– Currently, the Kia Seltos is priced between Rs 9.89 lakh and Rs 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom). We reckon the X-line Edition could demand a premium of around Rs 50,000 over its regular counterparts.
