Since its launch in 2019, Kia India has established itself as a prominent name in the automotive industry. Recently, it reached a significant milestone, exporting more than 2.5 lakh units from its Anatapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. With 149,952 units, roughly 59 per cent of these exports are contributed from the Seltos SUV.
For those unaware, Kia India exports to over 100 international markets from its Indian factory, including Paraguay, Chile, Latin America and South Africa.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India said, “Our dedication to quality and innovation has driven us to this milestone. The success of our Made in India vehicles internationally shows our commitment to quality. We’ve quickly become a major market for Kia Corporation and aim to maintain this momentum. While our focus is on the domestic market, we plan to keep our exports steady this year.”

Currently, Kia India has four products in the Indian market – Sonet, Seltos, Carens and EV6. The company has plans to launch the new-gen Carnival and EV9 flagship SUV in India this year.
