For those who aren’t aware, Kia offers the Carens in five trims: Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury, and Luxury Plus. It has three engines and three transmission options on offer. These include a 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre petrol with a 6-speed manual, a 140PS/242Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission), and a 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic unit.
