Kawasaki has announced the launch of Ninja ZX-6R in India on January 1, 2024. For those who aren’t aware, it stands as one of the best-selling Ninja ZX supersport motorcycles globally. The brand even gave us a sneak peek at the bike during this year’s India Bike Week.
Built on the pressed-aluminium perimeter frame, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R borrows its styling cues from the Ninja ZX-10R. It is powered by a 636cc, in-line 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It makes an impressive power output of 121.6PS, along with 69.14Nm of peak torque. It also gets four riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Custom. All can be controlled through its 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, which also supports Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity functions.

Anticipate Kawasaki India to price the new Ninja ZX-6R at approximately Rs 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will go up against the likes of the Honda CBR650R.
