Jeep Compass Prices To Go Up From April 1

  • Prices of Jeep Compass to be increaed from April 2022.
  • The margin of hike could vary with each variant.

The American carmaker Jeep has announced a price increment for its Compass mid-size SUV, effective from April 1, 2022. The margin of the hike hasn’t been revealed yet, but it could vary depending on the variant. The reason for the price hike is also unknown at the moment, but we speculate it is because of an increase in input costs.

To jog your memory, the standard Jeep Compass is available in four trims: Sport, Longitude (O), Limited (O), and Model S, priced between Rs 17.79 lakh to Rs 29.34 lakh, whereas its recently launched off-road specific Trailhawk trim costs Rs 30.72 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Currently, the brand is also offering some offers on the SUV exclusive for corporate employees.

While the gasoline mill also gets the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), the oil burner comes with an optional 9-speed torque converter automatic unit. Select diesel trims of the SUV also get all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD). It goes up against the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Tucson, MG Hector, and the Tata Harrier which has also recently undergone a price revision.

In the other news, Jeep India is all set to fully unveil the Compass-based Meridian SUV on March 29 that will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Mahindra Alturas G4, Skoda Kodiaq, and Isuzu mu-X.
