Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition Launched At Rs Rs 21.95 Lakh

American carmaker Jeep has launched a special Night Eagle Edition of the Compass sports utility vehicle in India at a starting price of Rs 21.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Placed between the Longitude and Limited trims of the mid-size SUV, it’s available in front-wheel-drive petrol-DCT and diesel-manual guise. Here’s a look at its detailed price: –

Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition – What’s Special?

The Compass Night Eagle Edition gets a stealthier black treatment for the front grille, fog lamp bezels, 5-split-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, and roof rails. It also receives dual-tone paint schemes with the roof finished in black color. There’s also the blacked-out Compass badging on the front fender.

Inside, the special edition gets an all-black color scheme with new stitching for the dashboard and black fabric-&-vinyl seat upholstery.

In terms of features, it shares its equipment list with the Longitude variant that majorly includes a 10.1-inch UConnect 5 infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker audio system, a dual-zone climate control system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control (with DCT only), traction control, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake, hill start assist, parking sensors with a rear parking camera.

Jeep has offered the Night Eagle Edition with seven existing colors options: Brilliant Black, Exotica Red, Bright White, Galaxy Blue, Minimal Grey, and Techno Metallic Green. 

Powertrain

As mentioned above, the Jeep Compass Night Eagle is available with both 170PS 2.0-liter diesel (with manual only) and 163PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (with DCT automatic only) engines. Unlike the standard Compass, the Night Eagle Edition misses out on the diesel-automatic and petrol-manual combination options.

In the Indian market, the Jeep Compass goes up against the Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
