Hyundai i20 Gets A New Magna Executive Variant; New Features For Sportz Trim

The Hyundai i20 has received a new Magna Executive variant at Rs 7.51 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it between the Era and Magna variants. The brand has also introduced new features for the Magna and Sportz variants, along with the option of a CVT gearbox for the Magna trim.

2025 Hyundai i20 – What’s New

  • As mentioned above, the Hyundai i20 receives a new second-to-the-base Magna Executive variant that carries all the features of the Magna trim, along with a tyre pressure monitoring system.
  • Hyundai has also taken this opportunity to introduce the CVT gearbox option for the Magna variant at Rs 8.89 lakh (ex-showroom), making the automatic transmission option more affordable for buyers. For reference, the CVT was earlier offered from the Sportz variant onwards, prices of which are mentioned below in the table.
  • The newly introduced Magna CVT also benefits from a single-pane electric sunroof, which was previously offered from the Sportz (O) variant onwards.
  • Hyundai also updated the Sportz (O) variant with two new features — push button start/stop and a 7-speaker BOSE sound system, both of which were earlier limited to the top-spec Asta variant.
  • With all these changes, the prices of the Sportz (O) variant have been increased by Rs 18,000 for the CVT and Rs 28,000 for the manual version. Having said that, the Sportz (O) trim now costs Rs 9.05 lakh for the manual and Rs 10 lakh for the CVT version.

*All prices ex-showroom.
