Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Launched At Rs 8.38 Lakh

To commemorate the successful first year of the Exter micro SUV in the Indian market, Hyundai has launched its special Knight Edition variant, enhancing its appeal even further.

As seen in the above table, the Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is only being offered in SX and SX (O) variants and commands a premium of Rs 15,000. For these added bucks, the special edition model boasts a slew of cosmetic enhancements. These include: –

  • An all-black exterior paint scheme with red highlights for sport appeal (more colour options available)
  • Blacked-out front & rear skid plates
  • Blacked-out alloy wheels with red brake callipers
  • Knight Edition badging
  • A black interior theme with red accents around the AC vents
  • Black seat upholstery with red inserts

Colour Options

The Exter Knight edition offers five monotone and two dual-tone colour options, including the new Abyss Black, Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Shadow Grey, Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof, and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof.

The Exter Knight Edition boasts the same list of equipment as its regular version, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charger, cruise control, electric sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, dashcam with dual cameras, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC and rear parking camera with sensors.

Propulsion Duties

The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition uses the same 1.2-litre petrol engine as the regular model that belts out 83PS and 114Nm. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

Compared to the standard model, it misses out on the CNG powertrain option.
