Hyundai Creta King, King Knight and King Limited Edition Launched

Hyundai has marked a decade of the Creta SUV in India, by introducing two new top-of-the-line variants – Creta King and Creta King Limited Edition. Alongside, the Korean carmaker has also updated the Creta Knight Edition and rolled out feature upgrades across the entire Creta lineup, making the urban SUV a more attractive option ahead of the festive season.

The new Creta King variant sits at the top of the SUV’s variant lineup. It brings exclusive styling touches and a long feature list. It also debuts the Matte Black colour option and comes with highlights such as: –

  • 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels
  • Driver’s seat with memory function
  • 8-way powered passenger seat with electric walk-in function
  • Dashcam
  • Wireless connectivity support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • Dual-zone AC with touch panel
  • Front row seatback table with IT device holder & retractable cup holder
  • Sliding Front console armrest with storage
  • Exclusive King Emblem

Hyundai has offered the Creta King with all three engine options of the SUV: 1.5l MPi petrol (with 6-speed manual and IVT), 1.5-litre diesel (6-speed manual & 6-speed automatic transmission) and 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol Engine (with 7-speed DCT).

To mark the SUV’s 10-year journey in India, Hyundai has rolled out the Creta King Limited Edition at a starting price of Rs 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s a look at all the new features it brings to the table over the King variant: –

  • Seat belt cover
  • Headrest cushion
  • Carpet mat
  • Key Cover
  • Door cladding

Hyundai has offered it with only a 1.5-litre MPi petrol with CVT automatic and a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option. The colour options include Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Matte Black finishes.

Hyundai Creta King Knight

The Creta Knight Edition has also been refreshed and now carries the “King Knight” badge. With its all-black treatment, it adds: –

  • Matte black R18 alloys
  • Exclusive Knight emblem
  • All the features of the King variant

It will be available with 1.5-litre petrol-CVT and 1.5-litre diesel-automatic combinations.

Feature Upgrades Across Variants

Hyundai has also upgraded other variants of the Creta lineup with new features such as:

  • Dual-zone climate control with touch panel
  • Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
  • Dashcam
  • R18 alloys
