Maruti Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition Revealed

Maruti Suzuki has revealed a new special edition of its popular Grand Vitara SUV called the Phantom Blaq Edition. It’s been introduced to celebrate Nexa’s 10th anniversary and to match the black-themed editions that rival brands have been launching. Prices and the exact launch date will be announced soon.

What’s Special About the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition

  • Full Black Look: Comes in a new matte black paint finish with 17-inch black alloy wheels.
  • All the shiny chrome parts on the outside are replaced with black trim, except for the window borders and the Maruti Suzuki badges.
  • Available only in the top-end Alpha+ strong-hybrid version of the Grand Vitara.

Inside the SUV

  • No changes inside – it already comes with a premium all-black cabin with leatherette seats and gold accents.
  • You still get all the top features like a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, auto AC, rear AC vents, 8-way powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, air purifier with digital display, footwell lighting, cruise control, and six airbags.

Engine & Performance

Powering the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that comes paired with a self-charging strong-hybrid system. It makes a combined power output of 116PS and claims a fuel efficiency of 27.97 km per litre. For transmission duties, it gets an eCVT gearbox.
