Hyundai India has finally taken the wraps off the all-new Bayon SUV ahead of its launch on October 26, 2026. The upcoming SUV will be positioned between the Venue and the Creta in the brand’s current product lineup. Pre-launch bookings for the Bayon are already underway for Rs 11,000, with deliveries scheduled to begin next month.
Hyundai Bayon – Design and Dimensions
Based on the ‘Art of Steel’ design language, the all-new Hyundai Bayon features a minimalistic exterior styling, with a modern and quirky approach compared to its conventional rivals.
Upfront, it gets inverted L-shaped LED DRLs connected by a sleek black trim. The main headlamp units are rectangular in shape, positioned below on the bumper, flanking the large air dam. It also features generous cladding on the bumper, along with a silver skid plate to give the SUV a bolder appearance.

Thanks to its chunky wheel arches, prominent cladding and sharp character lines, the Bayon looks perhaps the most distinctive when viewed from the sides. The signature windowline kink on the C-pillar and tall roof rails further add to its rugged appearance.
At the rear, the Bayon gets a slim LED tail lamp unit with a sleek black band in between. There’s also bold ‘BAYON’ lettering on the centre of the tailgate. Furthermore, a rear spoiler, a sharkfin antenna, and a dual-tone black-and-silver treatment on the bumper to add to the premiumness and bolder appearance.
Dimensions
Hyundai is yet to reveal the exact dimensions of the Bayon; it’s expected to be longer than 4 meters.
Hyundai Bayon – Interior and Features
As we reported earlier, the Bayon gets the same dashboard layout as the global-spec new-gen i20, featuring a curved dual-screen setup, slim vertical AC vents, and a vertical climate control panel featuring haptic buttons. It gets a 4-spoke steering wheel with the ‘morse-code’ Hyundai logo from the new Venue. It boasts a premium-looking dual-tone black & white cabin theme.
In terms of features, the Bayon is expected to be loaded up to the brim, with key amenities including dual 12.3-inch screens for the touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, generative AI Assistant based on Perplexity AI, powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, a premium BOSE sound system, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors, auto-dimming IRVM, and level-2 ADAS suite.
