Hyundai India has recently commenced bookings for the Alcazar Facelift, ahead of its launch on September 9, 2024. The upgraded family SUV will continue to be offered with the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options, with their respective gearbox options as the outgoing model. The brand has also revealed that the new Alcazar will be offered in four trim levels: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. - As noted above, the Hyundai Alcazar’s base variant, the Executive, and the second-from the base, the Prestige variant, will be available exclusively in a 7-seater configuration with a manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the top-spec Signature trim will come with an automatic transmission only.
- The Platinum is the only trim which is being offered with both manual and automatic transmission choices.

Expected Safety and Convenience Features
The facelift Alcazar is likely to borrow a few features from its smaller counterpart, the Creta, which received a facelift update earlier this year. Having said that, it could feature dual-connected displays for infotainment and digital clusters, dual-zone climate control, a new touch-based climate control panel, and Level-2 ADAS tech, which should further comprise a bunch of advanced active safety features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, collision avoidance, high-beam assist and much more.
Expected Price and Rivals
The refreshed Hyundai Alcazar is likely to be priced from around Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will continue to take on the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
