Hyundai Venue Gets New S Plus Variant At Rs 9.36 Lakh

After introducing the new mid-spec S(O) Plus variant of the Venue, Hyundai has now made the sunroof even more affordable by introducing the new S Plus variant priced at Rs 9.36 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it is Rs 25,000 more expensive than the S variant, but Rs 64,000 more affordable than the sunroof-equipped S(O) Plus variant.

Hyundai Venue S Plus – What Does It Offer?

Apart from the single-pane electric sunroof, the Venue S Plus variant comes equipped with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic headlamps, rear AC vents, six airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors and more.

What Powers The Hyundai Venue S Plus?

Hyundai offers the new S Plus variant only with the SUV’s 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine (83PS/113Nm), paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The carmaker also offers the other variants with a 120PS 1-litre turbocharged petrol and 115PS 1.5-litre diesel engine options.

Price and Competition

Hyundai retails the Venue sub-4m SUV from Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Renault Kiger.
