Hyundai Motors has launched the Alcazar on 18th June 2021 with prices ranging from Rs 16.30 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom India). Pre-launch bookings for the three-row SUV were opened from 9th June 2021 at a token amount of Rs 25,000. Now, the Korean carmaker has revealed that it has received over 11,000 bookings for the Alcazar in less than one month since its launch, with over 5,600 units have already been delivered.

Hyundai Alcazar Signature Diesel

Hyundai has also revealed that 65 percent of the bookings made have been for the diesel variants of the Alcazar. They come equipped with a 1.5-liter CRDi unit that sends power to the front wheels via either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This engine is tuned to make 115PS of maximum power and 250Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, the 6-& 7-seater Alcazar is also offered with a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated MPI petrol engine that also gets the same gearbox options as the oil burner.

Besides, the brand has also claimed that one-third of total bookings are for the top-of-the-range Signature variants. Now just as a refresher, the Signature variants of the Alcazar only come in a 6-seater configuration and get exclusive features like ventilated front seats, front parking sensors, and a dual-tone paint option over the other variants. Here's take a look at its variant-wise features details. Also, read Alcazar’s first-drive road test review here.
