Honda Elevate Fuel Efficiency Figures Revealed

The Honda Elevate SUV debuted in June this year, with its launch expected to take place in September. However, before its market release, the carmaker has already revealed almost all details about the car, including its mileage figures.

  • Honda will offer the Elevate with City sedan’s 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, rated at 121PS and 145Nm.
  • It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT automatic transmission.
  • Honda claims that Elevate can return a fuel efficiency (mileage) of 15.31kmpl with manual and 16.92kmpl with CVT automatic transmission.

Variants

The Honda Elevate will come in four variants: SV, V, VX and ZX. Except for the base-spec SV variant, other three variants will be offered with both manual and CVT automatic transmissions.

Bookings, Expected Price and Competitors

  • Bookings for the Elevate SUV are already underway both online and offline for a token amount of Rs 25,000.
  • We expect Honda to price the Elevate between Rs 11 – 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • In the mid-size SUV segment, the Elevate is Honda’s answer to the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, and the recently facelifted Kia Seltos.
