In view of the upcoming festive season, Honda Cars India has given a fresh breath of life to two of its popular sedans, the City and Amaze, by launching special editions. While the Honda City gets Elegant Edition at a starting price of Rs 12.57 lakh, the Amaze gets an Elite Edition at Rs 9.04 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). Here are the perks that each edition gets: –
Honda Amaze Elite Edition

The Amaze Elite Edition is based on the compact sedan’s top-spec VX variant and bears a premium of Rs 15,000. For this added premium, the new model packs the following additional bits over the regular model: –

- Anti-fog film on side mirrors
- “Elegant Edition” insignia at the rear
- Sliding front armrest
- Elite Edition seat cover
- Illuminated side sills with Elite emblem

Powering the Honda Amaze is a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine (90PS/110Nm), mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
Features onboard the Amaze sedan comprise automatic LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, auto AC, paddle shifters (for CVT), ISOFIX anchors, dual-front airbags and rear parking sensors with camera.
In the compact sedan segment, the Amaze faces competition from the Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
Honda City Elegant Edition

The Elegant Edition is based on City’s mid-spec V variant and commands a premium of Rs 6,000 over the standard model. And for the additional moolah, this special edition gets: –

At the heart of the Honda City is a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine (121PS/145Nm) paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. It competes with the Maruti Ciaz, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Taigun and Hyundai Verna.
