Honda Amaze Facelift Teased, Bookings Open Officially

Bookings for the upcoming Honda Amaze facelift have been commenced officially ahead of its launch on August 18, 2021. Interested customers can pre-book the refreshed sedan via the official website for a token amount of Rs 5,000 or through their nearest Honda dealership for Rs 21,000.

Honda Amaze facelift: What to expect? 

Revealed by the recently teased images and videos, the facelifted Honda Amaze will get a redesigned front grille, new LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs, updated taillamps with C-shaped LED elements, and 15-inch alloy wheels from the fourth-gen Honda City. It is also expected to get slightly refreshed bumpers and new paint schemes. 

Inside the cabin, it is likely to feature a new cabin theme with updated fabric upholstery and added features like an updated touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology and front armrest. Apart from this, it will retain most of the features of the current model, which mainly includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration support, automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio controls, cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with a camera. 

New Honda Amaze expected price

No changes are expected under the hood. The facelifted Amaze will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission.

Honda has recently increased the prices of its select offering, including the existing model of the Amaze sub-4-meter sedan. It now retails from Rs 6.32 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With the launch of the facelifted model, its prices are expected to increase again. It will continue to lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Ford Aspire
