Hero Super Splendor Canvas Edition – What’s Special?
As the name suggests, the Super Splendor Canvas Edition comes draped in an all-black shade. It is the same paint scheme that debuted with the Hero Splendor Plus. Further adding an extra layer of premiumness is the chrome-finished 3D branding of Super Splendor and H-Logo, along with a few more chrome accents surrounding the headlight and the exhaust shield.

Engine and Underpinnings
Aside from the above-mentioned changes, the Hero Super Splendor Canvas Black Edition remains unchanged. It continues to get features like a semi-digital instrument cluster, an integrated USB charging port, a side-stand engine cut-off function, a combi-braking system (CBS), and a long single-piece seat.
At the heart of the bike is the same 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that makes 10.7PS and 10.6Nm, paired with a 5-speed transmission. Even the suspension setup also remains the same, comprising a front telescopic hydraulic shock absorber and a 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorber at the rear.
In the 125cc commuter segment, the Hero Super Splendor goes up against the Honda Shine and Bajaj Pulsar 125.

The Super Splendor Canvas Edition undoubtedly looks alluring. However, considering the increasing competition, it would have been better if Hero had equipped it with more features.
