Hero MotoCorp has commenced deliveries of the newly launched Mavrick 440. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, personally handed over the bikes to customers at the Hero Primea Showroom in Gurgaon.
For those unaware, the Hero Mavrick shares its underpinnings with the Harley-Davidson X440. It comes in three variant options – Base, Mid and Top, with prices ranging between Rs 1.99 lakh and Rs 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powering the Mavrick is an all-new 440cc, 2-valve, air-oil-cooled engine that makes 27.3PS of max power and 36Nm of peak torque. Impressively, roughly 90 per cent of the torque is available at as low as 2000rpm. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch to decrease rear wheel skidding during aggressive downshifting and reduce clutch lever effort during gear shifts.
Based on the steel trellis frame, the bike measures 2100mm in length and has a wheelbase of 1388mm. It weighs up to 191kg and boasts a saddle height of 803mm.
Regarding features, the bike comes equipped with features like projector LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, clip-on handlebars, digital speedometer with gear indicator, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, call/SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation assist, and e-SIM connectivity that allows access to 35+ connected features.
