Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Launched At Rs 11.39 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the extended version of the Bolero Neo, Christened the Bolero Neo+. Priced from Rs 11.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the 9-seater SUV is available in two variants: P4 and P10.

Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Powertrain

Compared to the 7-seater Bolero Neo, which is powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine (100PS/260Nm), its extended version comes with the brand’s 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 120PS and 280Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox in a rear-wheel-drive configuration. It also benefits from Mahindra’s ‘micro-hybrid’ technology that helps improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.

Features

Regarding features, the new Bolero Neo+ comes equipped with features like 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with Bluetooth connectivity, day/night IRVM, power-adjustable side mirrors, height-adjustable driver’s seat, steering mounted control, rear wiper, rear defogger, armrest, alloy wheels, dual-front airbags, ISOFIX anchors, ABS with EBD, and automatic door locks.

Mahindra Bolero Neo+ Dimensions and Seating Arrangement

As a 9-seater option, the Bolero Neo+ features a 2+3+4 arrangement, with two side-facing bench seats in the third row. Regarding dimensions, the extended Bolero Neo measures 4400mm in length, which is 405mm more than its standard, sub-4m counterpart. However, at 2680mm, the wheelbase of both SUVs are identical.

Rivals

The Bolero Neo+ has no direct rival in the Indian market, but going by its prices, it can be seen as a rugged alternative to the compact MPVs and mid-size SUVs like Maruti Ertiga, XL6, Citroen C3 Aircross, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and more.
