Toyota Hyryder Interior Bits
Just days before its debut on July 1, the interior of the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV has been teased officially, revealing its sporty & modern cabin that embodies upmarket touches.
The latest teaser gives us a glimpse of its dual-tone black-&-brown dashboard that gets premium-looking leather inserts and silver accents. It features the same 9-inch free-standing infotainment system and automatic climate control panel as the facelifted Toyota Glanza. It will also get connected car tech with remote operations, including turning the car’s AC on/off through the mobile app.
The SUV should also come with premium features like a wireless smartphone charger, head-up display (HUD), electric sunroof, paddle shifters, and 360-degree camera.

As for the exterior, the previously revealed teaser hinted at a rugged-looking front profile with a chrome grille, split-LED DRLs, and aggressively styled bumper with a massive air dam. The SUV’s rear end will have wraparound LED tail lamps with a chrome strip joining a pair of inverted C-shaped LED light guides.
Mechanically, the Toyota Hyryder SUV will be powered by Suzuki’s 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine, paired with either a mild-hybrid or a strong-hybrid system. A 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission options will be offered with the mild-hybrid powertrain, whereas the self-charging strong hybrid unit will come with an e-CVT transmission (similar to Honda City e:HEV). The Japanese carmaker will also offer an optional all-wheel-drivetrain (AWD) with the mild-hybrid petrol engine.
Expect Toyota to launch this upcoming Creta-rival SUV in August, with prices likely to start from around Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
