Here Know How Much The Ducati Scrambler 800 BS6 Will Cost You

Ducati Motorcycles is gearing up to launch the BS6 iteration of the Desert Scrambler 800 motorcycle. It has been listed on the brand's official website with variant-wise pricing: –

The Scrambler 800 Desert Sled trim is around Rs 2 lakh expensive than its BS4 model. Except the pricing of the Icon variant pretty soon. Besides this, the Italian bike manufacturer has discontinued the Scrambler Cafe Racer and Full Throttle variants. 

All these Ducati Scrambler variants will be powered by the BS6-compliant 803cc L-twin air-cooled engine, producing 73.4PS and 66.2Nm. Compared to the BS4 version, the torque output has been slashed by the 0.8Nm. Apart from this, the engine will continue to get a 6-speed gearbox along with a hydraulically actuated slip-and-assist clutch.

BS6 Ducati Scrambler 800 – Features & Underpinnings 

As the name suggests, the Scrambler Nightshift comes finished in dark shades with grey colored body panels. It looks largely similar to the discontinued Full Throttle trim. As far as the features are concerned, the neo-retro cafe styled bike comes with cross-shaped LED DRL & LED turn indicators, low & wide handlebars with classy bar-end mirrors, an LCD instrumentation console with smartphone connectivity support a bench styled seat, 18-inch front, and 17-inch rear spoke wheels with Pirelli MT60RS tires,330mm front disc, 245mm rear disc, Bosch cornering ABS, and 41mm Kayaba USD fork & a Kayaba preload-adjustable rear monoshock. On the other hand, the Icon gets alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli MT 60 RS tires.

The off-roading biased Scrambler Desert Sled gets long-travel suspension units, comprising a 46mm fully-adjustable USD forks and a preload & rebound-adjustable Kayaba monoshock. It gets a 19-/17-inch spoke wheels setup that runs on Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR dual-purpose tires.

Once launched, the BS6 Ducati Scrambler will compete against the likes of Triumph Street Twin and the upcoming Triumph Street Scrambler & Scrambler 1200 XC.
