Tata Motors has axed four variants of the Altroz premium mid-size hatchback in India. These include XZA (O) petrol and diesel iterations of XE, XZ Dark, and XZ (O) variants. The carmaker hasn’t disclosed the cause for the discontinuation, but we believe it could probably have been done due to their poor demand.

Aside from the discontinuation of these variants, Tata has also re-introduced High Street Gold exterior colour for the hatchback, With this, it now available in a total of seven color options, including Cosmo Black, Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Avenue White, Arcade Grey, Avenue White, and Harbour Blue.
As revealed above, the Altroz comes with three engine options: 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol (86PS/113Nm), 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/140Nm), and 1.5-liter diesel (90PS/200Nm). A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard for all motors, while the naturally aspirated petrol mill can also be had with an optional 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA) transmission.
