Four Misses on the 2025 Renault Triber That Might Disappoint Buyers

The Renault Triber has recently undergone a mid-life facelift update, receiving a host of styling changes and tons of new features. All this makes it a more mature offering than before. However, it still misses out on some key features that buyers in this segment now expect.

Here are four notable omissions that could leave potential customers a bit disappointed: –

Turbocharged Engine

One of the most noticeable misses on the facelifted Triber is the absence of the turbocharged petrol engine that auto enthusiasts had been eagerly waiting for. This would not only enhance performance but also offer a more spirited driving experience – something the current 1-litre naturally aspirated falls short of delivering, especially in full load conditions. Its inclusion could have positioned the Triber as a more well-rounded package.

Sunroof

Another major miss on the 2025 Renault Triber is the lack of a sunroof, which is one of the most sought-after features among Indian customers. A sunroof adds a sense of airiness and premiumness to the cabin. Renault should have at least offered a single-pane sunroof, if not a panoramic one.

Alloy Wheels

The 2025 Renault Triber retains the 15-inch steel wheels but now features dual-tone styled covers. While these covers mimic the look of alloy wheels, the presence of actual alloys would have elevated its overall appeal and added a more premium touch. However, interested buyers can get them from the brand’s official accessories.

Premium Audio Sound System

While the Triber comes with a basic 4-speaker and 2 tweeters setup, a premium sound system, like Arkamys or JBL, with better bass, clarity and surround sound experience would have appealed to audiophiles and those who love an immersive in-cabin audio experience.

Final Wordings

While the 2025 Renault Triber brings a refreshed design and some welcome feature additions, the absence of the above-mentioned features/traits may leave some buyers wanting more. Nonetheless, it continues to be a strong value-for-money offering for families looking for a practical and spacious 7-seater car under Rs 10 lakh.
