FordPass Connected Car App Will Stop Working From Jan 2025

Amidst rumours about Ford making its comeback to India, the carmaker has announced that its FordPass service will stop working in the country after December 31, 2024. The FordPass app was removed from the app stores in mid-2023, and its services will officially stop functioning from January 2025.

For those unaware, the FordPass is a smartphone app that enables users to access connected car services. It provides a suite of services and features that connect Ford vehicles to the digital ecosystem, allowing users to control functions like remote start/stop and lock/unlock. The app also provides real-time information, such as fuel level and tyre pressure.
