Force Gurkha 5-Door Seating Layout Revealed

Force Motors is gearing up to launch the Gurkha 5-door, but ahead of its launch, the interior of the upcoming SUV has surfaced online and it has a three-row 7-seater layout with 2+3+2 seating layout.

Following the earlier spy images, the Gurkha 5-door will also be available in 5-seater two-row and 6-seater three-row arrangements. Access to the last row will be from the rear door, which features a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The SUV will also feature a front centre armrest and a larger touchscreen infotainment system. Spy shots also reveal that it gets a shift-on-fly 4WD knob positioned on the centre console (next to the driver’s seat).

Force Motors has already teased the updated Gurkha, revealing that the 3-door and 5-door variants will share a similar appearance with some unique touches. Spy shots and teasers also showcased new alloy wheel designs with Ceat Czat H/T rubber, currently available only in 215/75 R15 size. While the exact specifications of the 5-door 5-Gurkha are yet to be revealed, it is expected to retain the Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre diesel engine and 5-speed manual transmission.

Upon launch, the Gurkha 5-door will face competition from the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-door.
