Facelifted MG Hector Completely Leaked Ahead Of Official Debut

2023 MG Hector has been leaked ahead of its official unveiling in the coming days. The SUV has undergone substantial cosmetic changes, especially inside the cabin.

The new MG Hector bears a striking revived front facia with sharp angles and creases. It features a new & bigger chrome studded grille with gloss black surroundings, more sleeker LED DRLs, and a new chrome skid plate instead of a brushed silver finish.

From the sides, the 2023 MG Hector retains its upright posture and sleek aesthetic. As before, it gets machine-cut alloy wheels, sleek plastic cladding, and flared wheel arches. However, things are largely revised at the rear. It gets a tweaked tailgate, featuring a new connected lighting strip and muscular boot lip. It now also features the ‘Hector” badging in bold letters.

Inside, the 2023 Hector features a complete makeover with upmarket touches. Highlights includes a larger 14-inch portrait-styled free-standing touchscreen system, redesigned dashboard layout, all-black cabin theme with white leather upholstery, and a new digital driver’s display. Moreover, it is also likely to feature advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) that should include features like auto emergency braking, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control, collision warning, blind-spot alert and much more.

The new MG Hector facelift will be powered by the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.5-litre petrol-mild hybrid, and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engines. A 6-speed manual transmission will be standard, with the option of a CVT for the non-hybrid petrol engine.
