Facelifted Maruti Suzuki XL6 Spied Testing

We all know that Maruti Suzuki is working on several new products, including the next-generation iterations of Vitara Brezza, S-Cross, Alto, and facelifted Baleno, etc. And now, the facelifted XL6 has also joined the bandwagon. The 6-seater MPV was recently spied testing in Haryana.

Toyota XL6 Spotted On Test For The First Time?

The test mule in the video is draped in heavy camouflage, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact details. However, we can clearly see the updated LED headlamps and new alloy wheels. It should also get redesigned front grille, revamped bumpers at both ends, and new colour options. The interior is yet to be seen. But we reckon it will get new upholstery and an updated infotainment system, probably a floating unit as seen in the 2022 Baleno and Vitara Brezza.

The MPV could also get a few new features like a wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, automatic day/night IRVM, and an updated multi-information display. Other creature comforts that should be retained include auto climate control, roof-mounted rear AC vents, passive entry with a push-button start, cruise control, cooled cup holders, dual-airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a camera, and much more. Reports are suggesting that Maruti could also offer a 7-seater version of the XL6.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 2022

The updated Maruti Suzuki XL6 is likely to continue with its ongoing 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine (105PS/138Nm) with mild-hybrid tech, paired with a 5-speed manual and an optional 4-speed torque converter automatic. A flex-fuel engine could also be on offer.

Expect the new XL6 to command a slight premium over the ongoing model, which retails between Rs 9.97 lakh to Rs 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
