Citroen C3 Aircross Rebranded as Aircross, Prices Slashed

Citroen India has rebranded the C3 Aircorss SUV as simply Aircross. Bringing with it not just a new name but also a more attractive price tag. With prices now starting from Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom), this move makes the Aircross an even more attractive option in the compact & mid-size SUV space. It now also gets a new 12-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that also powers the smaller C3.

Citroen Aircross Revised Variant List and Prices

With the introduction of the new naturally aspirated powered variants, the Citroen Aircross has become more accessible by Rs 1.5 lakh. However, prices of the turbocharged variants have been increased by up to Rs 44,000.

Citroen Aircross – What’s New?

  • The overall exterior design remains unchanged; however, it receives new LED projector headlamps which enhance modernity and brightness.
  • Inside, it retains the same dashboard layout but now includes soft-touch materials.
  • For added comfort, convenience and safety, the SUV now also receives automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a centre armrest, standard six airbags and seatbelt reminder for all passengers.
  • The power window switches have now also been relocated to the door for better usability.
  • Underneath the hood, the SUV now also gets a new 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This mill makes 82PS of max power and a peak torque of 115Nm.

The Citroen Aircross SUV serves as an affordable alternative to SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Adtor, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Curvv and Skoda Kushaq.
