The renowned Chinese EV automaker, BYD, has announced to launch the Atto 3 electric SUV in India on October 11, 2022. With this, it will become the brand’s second electric four-wheeler in India after the e6 MPV.

Powering the global-spec Atto 3 is a 204PS/310Nm permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that can sprint it from 0 to 100kmph in only 7.3 seconds. Globally, the SUV is compatible with DC fast charging of up to 80kW.

Dimension-wise, the BYD Atto 3 will be around 4,455mm long, 1,875mm wide, and 1,615mm tall and will possess a wheelbase of 2,720mm. It will have a ground clearance of 175mm and a cargo capacity of 440 liters.
