MG Motor India has announced prices for the new Couture Editions of the Cyberster and M9 luxurious electric vehicles, which are priced at Rs 87.49 lakh and Rs 84.94 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Only 50 units of each special edition model will be available for sale via MG Select dealerships.
- Couture Edition luxury vehicles, created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed couturier Gaurav Gupta.
- Adorned with Gupta’s signature Serpent Infinity motif, translated from runway to road through hand embroidery and tonal layering.
- Bookings are already open, while deliveries are set to begin on August 10.
As mentioned above, the MG M9 and Cyberster Couture Edition variants feature a special custom exterior finish, designed in partnership with fashion designer Gaurav Gupta. Both the M9 and the Cyberster feature Gupta’s signature “Serpent Infinity” design theme, which is inspired by his fashion work. This design is brought to life on the cars using the same embroidery artistry, tonal layering and hand-finished detailing, similar to how Gupta’s premium “Light Song” collection is designed.

What’s more interesting is that the Cyberster features orange-coloured strips and gold-finished MG logos at the front and rear, whereas the M9 Couture Edition sports charcoal-coloured strips, a “Serpent Infinity” badge on the front bumper, and two brooches flanking the front MG logo that depict a winged mythical panther.
The interior also bears the “Couture Edition” inscription on the dashboard.
Apart from these visual enhancements, no changes have been made to the designs of the Cyberster and M9. That said, the MG Cyberster continues to feature a 77kWh battery pack, paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that produces 510PS of max power and 725Nm of peak torque, enabling it to complete the century sprint in just 3.2 seconds. It has an MIDC range of 580km.
On the other hand, the MG M9 comes with a 90kWh battery pack and a single-motor front-wheel-drive setup that generates 245PS and 350Nm, and claims an MIDC range of 548km.
